Company law as driver of societal change?
In spite of the urgency, supported by the scientific consensus, politicians and the business community hesitate about which steps to take next in the combat against climate change. Europe has, in the name of the competitiveness, temporarily halted the deployment of CSRD and CSDDD.
The urgency does however not disappear, quite to the contrary. That is why the Center of Company Law organizes 4 round tables where matters relating to ESG are discussed: the role of corporations, due diligence, shareholder activism and the reporting duties.
We warmly invite you to join us in keeping these matters high on the agenda. At each roundtable, you are introduced to the topic, and we will then debate next steps.
